Reishi Apple pie oatmeal

Nothing beats a warm and healthy breakfast! Try out this delicious recipe with Reishi mushroom for some immune support. The adaptogenic qualities of Reishi not only support your bodies health, but it also calms the mind and nourishes the spirit.

The ingredients for two bowls Reishi apple pie oatmeal

 

  • 1 cup (125 g) of rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or more if you like!
  • 2 teaspoons of maple syrup (or any other sweetener)
  • 1  large apple or two small apples
  • 1 teaspoon of Reishi or your favourite Mush powder
  • 1 cup (240 ml) plant milk
  • pinch of sea salt

How to Make Reishi apple pie oatmeal

 

Step 1
Cut the apple(s) into small squares

Step 2
Combine oats, milk, water, salt, Reishi, apple pieces and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

Step 3
Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 4
Divide equally between two bowls. Drizzle each serving with 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup and a few extra pinches of cinnamon
